Lower your printing expenses by setting quotas for printing!
HSLAB Print Logger logs and limits all printing activity on network print server.
Monitoring set of print job parameters, software records information into XML database that lets users operate charges, limit use of printers by employees, and receive detailed information about all print jobs. Software, designed as native Windows NT/2000/XP/2003/Vista service, also lets users export reports and view real-time statistics in HTML format from embedded HTTP server. Main assignment of the program - collection of the information about sizes of printing on printers and record it to the database for the subsequent analysis or compilation of the reports about printing activity.
Besides the program can inspect sizes of printing according to the defined quotas and to prohibit printing, if the quotas are exceeded. This option is additional and can be switched off. The collection of the information and printing job control can be organized by three main ways:
- collection of the information and control of printing jobs for the selected printer (printers);
- collection of the information and control of printing jobs for the selected user (users);
- collection of the information and control of printing jobs for the selected computer.
The listed ways can be used as together, and in various combinations, allows to apply the way, most convenient for everyone concrete case, for a control of printing. You can see real reports at http://www.printlogger.com/products/pl5/reports |
